Junior Food and Beverage Control

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Food and Beverage Control professional to join our Finance Department in the Food and Beverage industry. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Food and Beverage Cost Control Head in managing inventory, analyzing costs, and ensuring efficient control measures.

Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:

• Assist in monitoring and controlling inventory levels in collaboration with the central store, production teams and Branch supervisors.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in stock levels and minimize waste.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to track inventory movements.

2. Recipe Maintenance:

• Work closely with the Food and Beverage Cost Control Head to maintain standardized recipes for all items.
• Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure accurate representation of ingredients and portion sizes.
• Update recipes as needed in line with changes in ingredients or processes.

3. Cost Analysis:

• Support in analyzing recipe costs, identifying areas for improvement and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to monitor and control ingredient costs.
• Assist in conducting regular price comparisons and market analysis.

5. Reporting and Analysis:

• Contribute to the preparation of reports on food and beverage costs, highlighting key insights and trends.
• Provide support in analyzing financial data to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Control Head in presenting regular updates to senior management.

• A minimum Advanced Certificate in Food and Beverage Control, Hospitality Management, business or a related field.
• At least 6 months of work experience in food and beverage cost control.
• In-depth knowledge of inventory management, recipe control, and budgeting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
