Call for Audit

Back ground:

The Center for Victims of Torture (CVT) is a US based non-governmental organization working to heal the wounds of torture on individuals, their families and their communities, and to stop torture worldwide. CVT has been operational in Ethiopia since 2013, providing trauma rehabilitation services for refugees and IDPs in Tigray, Amhara and Gambella Regions.

The Center for Victims of Torture (CVT) would like to engage auditors to conduct independent and objective examination of its financial statements, accounting records, and internal control for the year ended December 31, 2023. The objectives of the audit is to assure its financial statements are accurate, reliable, and comply with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) and in accordance with the law of Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Authority for civil Society Organizations.

Requirements of the audit firms:

• Licensed from The Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia
• Practicing certificate
• Renewed license, TIN certificate and relevant documents
• Audit experience in NGOs
• Technical and financial proposal indicating time to complete the audit and issue final report.
