Job Description

Under general policy guidelines from of Chief Executive Officer; Plan Organize, Direct, Monitor, Control and evaluate the overall performance subsidiary plants and directorates grouped under it. Design and implement system that help for improving the overall operating performance like; production & product quality, process and management aspects of the JV companies in support of the strategic objectives. Work closely with the CEO to create the management practices that enable a high performing and effective executive team. Give high level leadership & technical support services to the JV companies in building their execution capability. Ensure that Process of production, technology and value chain streaming are adequate enough to produce quality product with less cost & high efficiency so that customer needs will be met.

DETAIL JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Plan Organize, Direct, Monitor and Control the performance of the JV companies and directorate grouped under his/her supervision

2. Design and implement a system that help for improving the overall operation performance

3. Give high level leadership & technical support to the JV companies to build their execution capabilities

4. Work with the CEO to create the management practice that enable high performing and effective executive team

5. Develop and implement objectives consistent with the corporate's strategy and customer needs

6. Ensure companies operate at their designed capacity

7. Ensure the product quality and consistency meet customer demand

8. Mintor unit production cost and search for alternative to cut/minimize/cost of production so to remain competitive in the business environment

9. Develop standard operating procedures (SOP) for production management, preventive maintenance, quality control, local manufacturing of spare parts and monitor performance against the SOP

10. Introduce lean management /avoid process that cant create value to the customer/

11. Ensure the development of the product as per specification, on time, and budget

12. Ensure all companies implement KAIZEN to achieve continuous improvement

13. Coach, mentor, and train technical staff and prospective leaders to enhance leadership as well as technical capability of the operation.

14. Conduct alternative study of raw materials and inputs

15. Ensure that propre safety and environmental management systems are in place in subsidiary companies and efforts are made by all to mitigate the happening of incident.

16. Ensure effective and efficient system of raw materials, consumables, spare parts, office supplies, and safety materials purchase at competitive prices.

17. Establish guide lines that help to set price to company products

18. Coordinate market assessment or research and propose production, pricing and marketing strategies

19. Establish appropriate storage and security systems to ensure safety and security of all data

20. Perform other duties given by CEO

Job Requirements

Basic Education:

BSC degree or more

In Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field

Years of Services:

For BSC degree 16 years work experience of which 5 years and above at higher managerial position

For MSC degree 14 years work experience of which 5 years and above at higher managerial position
