Senior Accountant

Our company ZY Industry PLC is engaged in the field of mining and it is a company that is helping the construction work in our city by producing gravel products and supplying them to various private construction companies and government institutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Verifying all payment and payroll sheet which is prepared by Junior accountant
  
• verifying and Checking that the purchase documents for which payment is to be made are correct
  
• Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, check and credit card transactions, and tally and file invoices.
  
• Collecting data from production site and preparing production and sales reconciliation report
  
• Preparing daily sales and cash deposit reconciliation
  
• Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
  
• Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
  
• Produce timely and accurate monthly financial statements and accounting reports and present their results
  
• Prepare and declare monthly and quarterly federal, regional and local Government taxes
  
• Reconcile all bank accounts
  
• Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
  
• Participate in departments goal setting activities and month-end and year-end close processes
  
• Assisting with annual audit preparations.
  
• Support and oversee tax audits
  
• Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned
  

Qualification

• BA Degree in Accounting/ Accounting & Finance
  
• 3 and above years of experience
