Sewage Operator

Adama town water supply and sanitation improvement project cover Adama town and rural kebeles of wonji. The source of water for this project is Ground water source located in Anna Lume of East Shewa Zone near Mojo Town.

The scope of this project is to supply safe (potable) water for Adama town to satisfy the growing per capita demand since the rapid economic development and radical population growth of the town coupled with the expansion of the system to Wonji have rapidly aggravated the water supply shortage in the town.

• Experience in operating a wastewater plant, safety training, and knowledge of wastewater treatment.
• Familiar with sewage treatment equipment, such as pumps, fans, motors, valves, meters and other equipment repair and maintenance experience.
• Graduate from a university majoring in mechanics, or electrical.
• Able to use computer, through the PLC to monitor the equipment operating conditions, and make records.
• Three shifts work system, 8 hours a day, monthly salary depends on personal experience.
