Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Finance officer is responsible for maintaining healthy financial performance of the organization and ensures that each and every transaction are made as per the rules, procedures and polies of the organization, government and donor organizations.

Essential minimum qualifications and capacities
- Demonstrate excellent skill in Peachtree accounting and other accounting software
- Able to manage multiple projects at a time and close year end accounts
- Proven skill in preparing financial reports for different stakeholders.
- Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and team working skill
- Strong financial management capability, including analytical skills, judgment and decision making.
- Detailed knowledge of Ethiopian financial law and proclamations
- Highly developed organisational, leadership, communication skills
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking skills that can be used when making critical decisions.
Position Requirements: Education & Experience
- A minimum of BA degree in Accounting & Finance, or related fields
- A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience with working experience in Civil Society Organizations.
