Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company's overall technology strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Lead and oversee the development of technology products and solutions, ensuring they meet quality standards and market requirements.
- Identify emerging technologies and trends relevant to the company's industry, and assess their potential for innovation and competitive advantage.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering and development teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Manage the company's IT infrastructure, systems, and operations, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Define and maintain the overall architecture and design principles for the company's technology solutions, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and efficient.
- Assess and mitigate technical risks and challenges, including cyber security threats, data breaches, and compliance issues.
- Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors, partners, and service providers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and quality standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as product management, sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure technology solutions meet customer needs and market requirements.
- Ensure that technology solutions comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices, particularly in regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, and cyber security.
Skills and Qualifications:
- MSc/BSc in computer science, Software Engineering or related fields
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in a senior IT leadership role.
- Proven track record in implementing and managing technology solutions in the financial technology sector.
- Strong technical background and expertise in software development, ERP, and IT infrastructure, with knowledge of relevant programming languages, platforms, and technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster innovation, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to envision and execute technology strategies that drive business growth, innovation, and competitive advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across departments and teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and make informed decisions in complex and ambiguous situations.
