Job Description

Addis systems PLC is ERP, Electronic Invoicing and E-POS company that delivers convenient, innovative, safe and secure financial software services in Ethiopia by leveraging the latest technology platform in the industry and developing user-oriented products and services. Addis systems invites qualified applicants for the following vacant positions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the company, setting and communicating clear goals, objectives, and priorities to drive business growth, innovation, and profitability.
  • Establish and maintain effective corporate governance structures, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and best practices.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and industry developments, and develop and execute business development strategies and initiatives to expand market share, revenue streams, and customer base.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring sound financial management practices, efficient resource allocation, and sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Drive operational excellence and efficiency across all functions and departments, optimizing processes, systems, and workflows to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Build and lead a high-performing executive team and organizational structure, attracting, developing, and retaining top talent, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and performance excellence.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, board members, customers, partners, and regulators, and represent the company's interests and values in external forums.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate business risks and challenges, including market risks, operational risks, and regulatory risks, and implement risk management strategies to protect and enhance the company's value and reputation.
  • Lead organizational change and transformation initiatives, proactively adapting to market dynamics, technological advancements, and competitive pressures, and driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Champion corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and sustainability efforts, aligning business objectives with social and environmental goals, and contributing positively to the community and society.

Job Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related fields. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of executive leadership experience, including 5 years in senior management roles, with a proven track record of driving business growth, leading organizational change, and achieving strategic objectives.
  • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, build consensus, and foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture focused on achieving results and delivering value.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to anticipate market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop and execute effective business strategies to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Solid financial acumen and business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data, interpret key performance indicators (KPIs), and make informed decisions to drive financial performance and shareholder value.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively, and effectively communicate with diverse audiences, including investors, employees, customers, and partners.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement, and the ability to adapt to changing market dynamics, technology disruptions, and competitive landscapes.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, customers, partners, and regulators, and negotiate win-win agreements and partnerships.
  • High ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to upholding ethical principles, corporate values, and social responsibility, and leading with honesty, transparency, and accountability.
