Job Description

1. JOB SUMMARY

Working with and reporting to the Senior Program Manager, the Private Sector Engagement Officer will be responsible for Planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling the Blue Door network commercialization program operation at the respective catchment. He/she will be tasked with understanding the needs for commercial journey in terms of sales, marketing, and documentation and recommending feasible techniques to meet the needs of private clinics; monitoring the progress of member clinics, Private sector support officers at the field level and develop mechanisms to support their activities; provide technical support to the Area Programs team, compile performance reports of project implementation; participate in marketing and business development activities. He/she is also responsible for the timely preparation and submission of monthly performance reports to the channel lead.

2. DUTIES/TASKS

Lead medical and equipment/supplies and training sales activities

Proactively Support demands creation and delivery of value-adding and attractive training per the channel's KPI

Support team on planning, and delivery of presentations on company products, equipment/training services

Closely work with commercial finace team on the financial and asset transactions and management; will also closely follow on proper recordings and reportings of the channels medical equipemnts and supplies for each area office

Properly document and periodically updates potential outlets and trainees' profile and share learnings accordingly

Support the team to Meet and/or exceed quotas, track all sales activities in the company system, and catchment area and keep current by updating the information regularly

Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to appropriate departments

Maintain a well-developed pipeline of potential partners and clients

support strong partnership and ongoing relationships are established between sales, BDN members and othe health professionals and customers established across all frilled offices

Coordinate with sales, quality department, and other MSE team members and departments to optimize the sales of equipment, supplies, and Medical emergency drugs. supplies effort

Productiveity and perfomence management

Produces monthly, quarterly and annual reports on assigned targets and any other relevant information and submits to the immediate supervisor;

Closely work with the field team on timely updating of the registry, and performance tracking at the individual member clinic level

Facilitate monthly performance reviews and weekly updates of the BDN activities.

Participates in service target setting and activity planning for each area office.

Assists in the development of new Private Sector Engagement project ideas and provides input into proposals to attract donor funds.

Ensures that the Private Sector Engagement program is implemented according to the approved donor agreements and MSI program standards.

Prepares annual plan of operation of the franchise activity based on the operational plan and relevant project document;

Provides technical and managerial support to the private clinics and other partners;

Evaluates the progress of the PSE Activity at the Area Programs Office against set targets and key performance indicators (KPIs),

periodically Updates and review MOU agreement formats and code of conduct for each clinic at the Support office;

Oversees that commodity supplies are procured and distributed, training, marketing, and promotion activities are implemented according to the plan;

Assess and timely document and disseminate best practices and /or lessons learned from MSIE's PSE;

Undertakes follow-up and interim performance evaluation of franchisee clinics;

Coordinates or facilitates training of private clinic providers identified in the Area Programs Office;

Collects and leads success stories documentation and prepares to share learnings with all concerned and create a central platform for this activity.

Carries out other similar activities as assigned by his/her line manager;

Quality Assurance Responsibilities

Ensure that all clinical staffs are competency assessed annually for every service they provide and ensure that clinical staffs providing service independently are at level 1 competency and track clinical competency & training continuously

Ensure action plans related to Internal QTA, External QTA, incidents, supportive supervision, and team meeting are timely completed

Ensure Clinical Record audit is conducted every month

Ensure incidents are timely reported and adhere to an incident management system with a no-blame, learning culture

Ensure availability of all relevant MSI policies and guidelines at each service delivery site

Participate in each quarterly MAT (medical advisory team) meeting

Ensure internal audit is conducted to all service delivery sites once per year

Job Requirements

A. Qualification Requirements

a. Education:

BSc/MSc/MPH in Nursing or Public Health

b. Experience:

Four to Six years of experience in managing SRH activities

B. Skills, Attitudes, and Attributes

Understanding major policies/issues of large bilateral/multilateral donors, government policies, and regional policies;

Strong working knowledge of business practices in the country;

A collaborative approach to team working;

Strong personal commitment to the goals of MSI and to putting them into practice;

Good interpersonal/communication skills - both oral and written;

Advanced analytical and organizational skills;

Negotiation skills;

Knowledge of local Languages where applicable is required;

Pro-choice

. 1 year contract with possible extension based on performance
