General Position Summary

Reporting to The Procurement Manager, the Procurement Officer is responsible for the timely procurement of goods and services for Boston Partners P.L.C. Working closely with Program, Administration, Finance, and Logistics the Procurement Officer is instrumental in supporting program activities through his/her services.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Ability to analyze market trends, supplier capabilities & pricing to make decision
• Capable of negotiating favorable terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings
• Need to have a full understanding of the company and standard procurement policies, procedures, and procurement regulations;
• Need to have a full understanding of basic procurement policies & procedure
• Proactively coordinate the tender /comparison process for both goods & services. Ensuring that the process follows best practice
• Assists staff as needed in creating clear and understandable purchase requests and other procurement documentation.
• Track purchase requests and ensure timely purchases including maintaining current and orderly files of all procurement activities.
• Flexibility in supporting business units on cost saving & reduction initiatives
• Ability to develop & execute strategic sourcing plan to meet company objectives & goal
• Capacity to identify & resolve procurement-related challenges
• Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Committed to ongoing learning & professional development, seeking opportunities to improve process, skill, and knowledge in procurement practice.

Required number: one

• Degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management, Management, Accounting, or any related field and four years work experience in Procurement and Logistics position especially in the hospitality industry.
• Good computer skills (especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Proficiency in English languages
• Willingness and ability to perform other duties as assigned
