Job Description
The Manager Data Base Admin Division is responsible for managing and maintaining the database systems of EthSwitch. He/she will lead a team of database professionals who support and operate the database systems. He/she will also ensure that the database systems meet the standards, best practices, and regulations, such as PCI-DSS, ISO/IEC TR 10032:2003. He/she will also work with other divisions and departments to coordinate and align the database systems objectives with the overall IT strategy and vision.
He/she will also monitor and report on the database systems and applications' performance and outcomes, and identify and implement changes and enhancements to optimize the database systems and applications' availability and reliability. He/she will also be involved in planning and implementing database projects, such as migration, integration, replication, backup, and recovery.
Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, and the ability to identify and resolve database issues and incidents in a timely and effective manner. Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment are required.
