Position Overview:

We seek a dynamic and experienced Engineering Team Lead to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the engineering team developing and executing strategies to enhance their capability in product development, strengthen customer engagement via providing high level customer interface and experience. You will also be responsible for the maintenance, upgrading and also new product developments. In doing so you may collaborate cross-functionally with the whole management team to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities: The roles and responsibilities are subject to change based on periodic management reviews.

Management of Cyber Security and Compliance, Risk Management, IT Infrastructure, Data Center Management, System Resiliency, and Disaster Recovery Solutions.

Easily recognizes areas for internal improvement and develops plans for implementation.

Lends expertise to internal teams in programming, networking, and data management.

Reviews the status reports of team members across projects and address issues as appropriate.

Keep up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.

Complies with and enforces standard company policies and procedures.

Engineering Team Lead will manage and direct the companys information technology operations, ensuring the department provides an efficient and effective technical support service.

Serves as a key participant in team meetings, raises the companys visibility through involvement in local industry organizations, confronts issues openly and quickly, and effectively communicates relevant IT-related. In other practices, information to superiors and peers tactfully communicates sensitive information and handles difficult personnel situations directly, using appropriate discretion, HR advice, and respect for the individual.

Leads development and implementation processes for the IT systems.

Develops the companys IT strategy and roadmap.

Analyzes IT infrastructure and systems performance; assesses operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.

Coordinates the resolution of all corporate help desk activities.

Serves as a focal point for all inter-office IT-related matters company-wide.

Ensures that appropriate network managers are monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating performance and working on resolving identified degradation trends and problem areas (Performance Management).

Ensures that support for around-the-clock information transfer, storage, and processing is timely, efficient, and meets the service levels required.

Multiverse programming languages are especially used in YaYas product ecosystem (Java, NodeJS, Flutter, Python, Net/.Net Core, React, PHP, HTML, etc...

Excellent server administration and troubleshooting skills in both Windows and Linux world.

Work with HR, R&D, and other departmental heads to build a robust Information Technology candidate pool.

Liaise with colleges/universities and IT Incubation Centers in all regions to attract and retain the best talent and provide internship opportunities to graduates.

Assist with IT staffing and budgeting projections on a company-wide basis.

Challenges others to develop as leaders while clarifying roles and responsibilities.

Possesses the expert knowledge to identify opportunities for change and the ability to convey the need for change, new product development, and service delivery that attracts end-users/customers based on research.

Participates in all programs relating to performance evaluations and career development planning.

Mentors managers and supervisors through formal channels regarding any IT and product development initiatives.

Assesses training needs and selects training tools for team members.

Manages the development of project teams by ensuring that project tasks align with each Teams career interests.

Maintain, deploy, and support all IT assets, including but not limited to phones, servers, desktops, printers, network hardware, and network cabling.

Supervise, train, and mentor desktop support and sysadmin staff.

Keep track of the SLA agreements with vendors and ensure that support agreements are active for hardware and software that are not end of support.

Develop, implement, and update NDAs for various IT users and YaYa stakeholders based on their role or level of engagement, or scope of access to the YaYa IT infrastructure.

Design/ develop YaYas Identity Access Management procedure, RTO, and RPO that meets industry standards that lowers the risk of data breach and system failure.

Develop, maintain, and update the company backup/restore and encryption policy that meets YaYa RPO and RTO.

Maintain and confirm daily backups of all critical data and ensure its encrypted and stored in a highly secured location.

Monitor network and infrastructure to identify possible intrusions and respond as appropriate.

Develop relationships with government entities like INSA and other private and government Cyber Security user communities.

Facilitates periodic and ad-hoc security audits and investigations for internal or government regulatory purposes

Adhere to work procedures, standard operating procedures, and processes that support corporate and departmental standards, procedures, and strategic directives.

Prepare and adhere to annual department budgets.

Use appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding department or employee concerns.

Be the champion to help decide, in conjunction with corporate leadership, which software and hardware products and other equipment are relevant during procurement and upgrade.

Oversees IT-related asset purchases on a company-wide basis.

Manages software licenses on a company-wide basis.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirement

Proven work experience as a Engineering Manager

Excellent knowledge of MS Office

Thorough understanding of software engineering techniques

Fast learner with and passion

Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations

University degree in Software, Electrical and Computer Engineering and any other relevant disciplines.

Masters degree in same fields is preferable.

Working as a manager, supervisor and any senior level with same experience.
