Midwife Nurse

Mary Joy Ethiopia is a non-profit, local NGO. Presently, the organization collaborates closely with various development partners and donors on multiple projects in Addis Ababa, focusing particularly on the Yeka, Gulele, and Kolfe Keraniyo Sub-cities, as well as over ten other regional towns.

Mary Joy Ethiopia is seeking to employ a Midwife Nurse for the Addis Ababa Asco Medical and Support Center, based on the following Criteria.

• Provide essential midwifery care to expectant mothers at the Gynecology/Obstetrics Outpatient Department (OPD).
• Offer family planning services.
• Perform deliveries for laboring mothers.
• Administer vaccinations to children and mothers.
• Assist with ultrasound services.
• Conduct antenatal care for pregnant mothers.
• Deliver emergency nursing care as necessary.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Salary: Based on the organization's scale, plus additional duty benefits.

Academic Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Midwifery. A Master's degree will be advantageous.

Minimum Experience:

• 3 years of experience in a government health facility or Maternal and Child Health (MCH) center.
