Job Description

Responsible for maintenance/safety in gymnasium and supervising exercise programmed for members and guests.
Reports for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and nametag at all times.
Teaches aerobic classes to members and guests in accordance with the aerobic schedule.
Works in close coordination with the Assistant Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the Gymnasium and aerobic room.
Responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, cleanliness and safety in the gymnasium and aerobic room.
Responsible for teaching any scheduled exercise classes that have been arranged by the Assistant Manager.
Ensures that members and guests use the gymnasium and aerobic studio wearing the correct attire.
Conducts a daily check of all exercise equipment in the gymnasium and records the repairs that are necessary as required by policy and procedures.
Ensures that there is always a minimum of one instructor on duty on the gymnasium floor at all times.
Maintains close contact with guests/members and communicates feedback from them regarding the operation of the gymnasium and aerobic room to the Assistant Manager as required.
Conducts fitness evaluation/reassessments for members and guests on a regular basis with regards to the standards required.
Conducts personal training referencing guidelines under Policy and Procedure.
Conducts monthly fitness center activities.

Job Requirements

Relevant Degree or Diploma in sports science or related fields
Minimum 1-year work experience inthe field or similar positions is advantageous.
Excellent knowledge of products and services provided by the hotel.
Must have superior English language skills to facilitate effective communication process.
Must be highly flexible with working hours.
