Driver Cashier

The cashier driver will be assigned to the operations department and will be responsible for providing dependable and compliant assistance to USAID TB LON KAP in DRS Program activities to offer efficient service to program participants.

• The cashier driver will be in charge of the bases safe and of all operations related to money and administration and will offer safe transportation for the USAID TB LON KAP in DRS program in Afar &Somali.
• The cashier driver shall obey and follow-up the BPDOs financial/administrative procedures and all traffic and BPDO safety standards, as well as the transportation parameters established by the BPDO logistics department.
• Communicate with Project Finance &Admin Director about financial issues. Send financial documents timely for Head office for settlement and reimbursement.
• Communicate with Head office Logistic department about fuel and loogsheet report issues.
• Facilitate Hotel reservation, Refreshment, and meeting Hall when there is demand.

Safety and Security

• Ensure that security procedures and policies are followed as directed by the countrys leadership.
• Assure that team members are operating in a secure environment and are aware of rules.
• Always update to immediate supervisor and Head office logistic department about security status of working areas.
• Always make sure vehicle has been clean and net; check Oils (Engin, gear & Filters)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of diploma in accounting and finance, Management, Business Administration and related fields with third- or higher-Class valid driving license.
• Minimum of four years Driving & cashier experience, ideally with an NGO with a proven track record of success
• Experience fixing vehicles (Auto bag round) is preferred.
• Ability to speak in both local language and English is required, as is knowledge of another local language will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of routes, duty stations, project areas, non-governmental and governmental organizations, and the likeminded organizations is necessary.
