Job Summary:
The job involves developing and implementing strategies to promote job creation and economic development in the assigned region. This includes collaborating with local stakeholders, designing training programs for job seekers, conducting research on job market trends, and evaluating the effectiveness of project implementation. The role also includes producing regular reports, monitoring project progress, and supporting technical implementation under the guidance of the Project Manager. Additionally, the position may involve undertaking other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to promote job creation and economic development within the assigned region
- Collaborate with local businesses, community leaders, and government agencies to identify and assess job market needs and opportunities
- Design and deliver training programs and workshops to equip job seekers with the necessary skills and knowledge for successful employment
- Conduct baseline surveys, research and analysis to identify trends and best practices in job creation, and use this knowledge to inform program development and improvement
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEED project implementation, and make recommendations for adjustments and enhancements as needed
- Support the overall technical implementation of project activities, under the guidance of the Project manager
- Produce a monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Conduct in-depth regular review and monitoring of the project, ensure all deliverables are as per the defined and agreed schedule
- Undertake any other duties as may be requested by the project manager
