IP Senior Engineer

Responsibility

• Developing and maintaining functional and secured Enterprise networks.
• IP network planning and engineering trouble -shooting
• Responsible for overall work, including planning and design, customer communication and internal reporting.
• Creating oversee and test security measures(e.g.: access authentication and disaster recovery)
• Offering engineering solution based on a thorough understanding of data network architecture, topology and other configuration details

Required person: - 4

• BSC/MSC in Electrical and computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.
• Professional certificate-CCIE certification is better (e.g.:-HCIP on R&S or Data com) or similar CISCO certifications parallel to HCIP, HCIE.

• More than 5 years who is experienced with telecom/IP RAN system.
• Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator.
• Sharp troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently
• Organizational and mentoring skills
• More than 5 years of working experience in the IP RAN field.
• Familiarity with BSC /RNC,LTE service and data flow
• 5 years of senior level working experience
• Deep understanding of cyber and information security
• Rich experience in live network cutover
• More than 10 years of working experience in the IP field
• Professional knowledge of VLAN,CDP,STP,DTP,VTP,RSTP,MAC,LLDP,LACP,Ethernet,DTP,ARP,RPVST,PORT SECURITY, Ethernet channel(LACP&PAGP),ISIS,MPLS L2VPN(VPLS,VPWS(VLL),PW),IPsec VPN,GRE,MPLS/BGP/SR L3 VPN
• Business skills as a local TL

• Fluent in Amharic & English.
