Senior Sales and Marketing Officer

On behalf of one of our clients, Addis Eyita Consultancy is recruiting for the position of Accountant. The client is a leading, national company in the thermal paper and socks production industry.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Sales and Marketing Officer to lead the sales and marketing efforts for our socks factory. The Senior Sales and Marketing Officer will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth for our socks manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing within the textile industry, with a focus on socks production and distribution.

Detail Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies specific to the socks manufacturing industry to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
• Lead the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, expanding the customer base, and increasing sales volumes for socks products.
• Manage key customer accounts, build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and wholesalers, and negotiate contracts to maximize sales opportunities.
• Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to inform product development, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns for socks.
• Collaborate with the production and design teams to align product offerings with market demands, quality standards, and customer expectations.
• Monitor sales performance, track key performance indicators, and report on sales metrics to assess the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives.
• Participate in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to showcase socks products, generate leads, and enhance brand visibility.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop marketing materials, digital campaigns, and social media strategies to promote socks products and engage customers.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer surveys to gather insights for product positioning, market segmentation, and sales forecasting.
• Stay updated on industry developments, technology advancements, and best practices in socks manufacturing and sales to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

Qualifications Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Textile Design, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 2 and half years proven experience in sales and marketing roles within the textile industry, preferably in socks manufacturing or apparel production.
• Strong knowledge of socks manufacturing processes, materials, trends, and distribution channels in the textile market.
• Excellent sales skills, negotiation abilities, and relationship-building capabilities to drive business growth and customer acquisition.
• Strategic thinking, analytical skills, and data-driven decision-making to develop effective sales and marketing strategies for socks products.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and digital marketing platforms for lead generation and customer engagement.
