Job Summary:

The Finance Director, reporting directly to the Chief Funding Officer, is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization. This role involves strategic planning, financial analysis, budget management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Finance Director collaborates closely with the CFO to develop financial strategies that support the company's growth and profitability objectives.

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Develop financial strategies to meet company objectives.
• Analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare regular reports and forecasts for management.

Budget Management:

• Collaborate with department heads to create annual budgets.

• Monitor budget performance and recommend adjustments as needed.

Cash Flow Management:

• Manage cash flow to support operational needs.

• Monitor banking activities and optimize cash resources.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements and tax filings.

Risk Management:

• Identify and mitigate financial risks facing the organization.
• Stay informed about regulatory changes and industry trends.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead and mentor the finance team.
• Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; ACCA, CPA, CFA, similar certifications, or MBA preferred.

• +5 years of finance or accounting experience, 3 years in a leadership role.

• Strong financial analysis, mathematical, and strategic planning skills

• Strong mathematical analysis capabilities.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
