Dugda Construction Plc is BC/SC-1 Construction Company that is engaged in the Building Construction, Special Foundation & Supplier Ready Mix Concrete. Our Company is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position listed below.
Main Responsibility & Duties
- Develops and implements procurement strategy for purchasing management so as to ensure procurement needs of functional units are satisfied in full, on time, within budget and to the agreed quality.
- Develops long-term mutually beneficial relationships with a core number of key suppliers to ensure continuity of supply, best quality and keenest prices.
- Plans, organizes, and coordinates all inventory, logistics, and warehousing activities in such a way that these services contribute to the effective and efficient construction process and on time delivery.
- Analyzes inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.
- Evaluates and selects information or other technology solutions to improve tracking and reporting of materials or products distribution, storage, or inventory.
- Involve actively in the supplier evaluation process.
- Negotiates for best purchasing package (in terms of quality, price, term, delivery and service) with suppliers and sub-contractors assigned.
- Monitors supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
- Oversees and ensures the receipt, storage (order assembly), retrieval and timely dispatch of all raw materials at all project facilities are performed based on Company Policies and procedures.
Educational Qualification
- MBA/BA Degree in Supply Chain Management, Material Management and Related Field of study.
Work Experiences
- 8/10 years and above which at 2/3 (two/three) years Similar Position
Technical Competency
- Strong knowledge of Construction Industry .
- Coordination, listening, communication and comprehension skills.
- Basic Managerial and Communication Skill .
