Request for Audit Services

Pro Development Network (PDN) is a consortium of 51 local Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) registered by FDRE Authority. As per the requirements of Civil Society Organization Proclamation 1113/2019 and Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE) Proclamation No. 847/2014, PDN is seeking proficient audit service providers for its fiscal year spanning from January 1st to December 31st.

We are inviting qualified audit firms with authorization from the office of the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE) to conduct auditing of PDNs accounts for the year ended December 2023. The selected audit firm will enter into an agreement with PDN for a three-year term, and the submitted price quotation should reflect the estimated costs for all three fiscal years: 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Scope of the Service:

• The firm will audit the clients financial statements for the fiscal years 2023, 2024, and 2025.
• There will be about 1 or 2 box files of accounting documents to be audited per quarter.
• The firm will audit the financial statement and the supporting documents of the concerned period as prepared by the client and will give his/her opinion on the fair presentation of the financial statement.
• The firm should conduct the audit according to Accepted Accounting Standards (GAAP) and Agency for Civil Society Organizations requirements.
• Management letter and financial consolidation report will be the major outputs of the services.

PDN reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, annul the bidding process, and reject all bids at any time before contract award, without incurring any liability to bidders.

Interested firms who meet the following requirements are invited to bid for the annual audit service:

Qualification:

• Renewed professional license and business registration license Must be registered as Certified Chartered Accountants

• Certificate from AABE

• Must-Have Tax Identification Number / TIN/.

• Tax Clearance Certification for the fiscal year 2022/2023

• Evidence of auditing experience with NGOs / INGOs. Evidence of Previous experience of auditing financial statements prepared based on GAAP Basis
