2.Main Duties and Responsibilities

Under the general direction and supervision of IT Director, ensure that all backup and restore procedures are tested and documented regularly. Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware. Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records.

3. Specific Duties & Responsibilities

1.1 Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components.

1.2 Ensure that all backup and restore procedures are tested and documented regularly.

1.3 Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.

1.4 Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.

1.5 Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.

1.6 Operate master consoles in order to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use.

1.7 Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records.

1.8 Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software.

1.9 Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware of software requirements related to such changes.

1.10 Confer with network users about how to solve existing system problems and also ensure that all users are aware of the organizations IT security via regular training.

Monitor, supervise and cooperatively work with IT Support Officer

Qualification Requirement

1. Education

BSC in Information Technology/Computer Science or other related fields

2. Work Experience

4 Years Related Experience

3. Special skill/Training

Additional relevant Certifications are an advantage
