Background on IMPACT and REACH
REACH was born in 2010 as a joint initiative of two International NGOs (IMPACT Initiatives and ACTED) and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) Operational Satellite Applications Programme (UNOSAT). REACHs purpose is to promote and facilitate the development of information products that enhance the humanitarian communitys decision making and planning capacity for emergency, reconstruction and development contexts, supporting and working within the framework of the humanitarian reform process. REACH facilitates information management for aid actors through three complementary services: (a) need and situation assessments facilitated by REACH teams; (b) situation analysis using satellite imagery; (c) provision of related database and (web)-mapping facilities and expertise.
IMPACT Initiatives is a humanitarian NGO, based in Geneva, Switzerland. The organization manages several initiatives, including the REACH Initiative. IMPACT was launched at the initiative of ACTED, an international NGO headquartered in Paris and present in thirty countries. The two organizations have a strong complementarity formalized in a global partnership, enabling IMPACT to benefit from ACTEDs operational support on its field intervention.
We are currently looking for a REACH Logistics Assista to support our team in Ethiopia.

Job Requirements
Qualification, Experience, and Technical Skills BA in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Management. other related fields. Minimum of 2 years of relevant, full-time work experience in Logistics and Warehouse Management and Administration in NGOs, with donor-funded projects Team player, and able to work independently. Ability to coordinate multiple assignments. Strong interpersonal skills and positive professional attitude Good computer skills; MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Skills in Web Conferencing Applications, information management systems Basic English language skill is required. Additional Skills Communication: Clear and effective communication is essential for coordinating with team members, customers, and vendors. Organization: Keeping track of information and resources to use them effectively. Time Management: Efficiently managing time to meet deadlines and coordinate logistics activities1. Data Entry: Inputting data accurately into computer systems or databases1. Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook for various office tasks1. Inventory Management: Tracking inventory levels and maintaining accurate records1. Shipping and Receiving: Coordinating the shipment and receipt of goods. Order Picking and Packing: Preparing and packaging orders for shipment. Load Planning and Routing: Organizing and planning the most efficient routes for transportation1. Driver Management: Overseeing and managing drivers and delivery schedules1. |
