Ethiopian Lawyers with Disabilities Association (ELDA) with the support of Amplify Change seeks to hire a qualified consultant to develop a gender inclusion policy that would lead Ethiopian lawyers with disability Association (ELDAs) future engagement in regard to gender related issues. To this end, ELDA is requesting the services of an experienced gender consultant (individual or firm) in developing a holistic gender policy that has the potential of being exemplary and prototype. ELDA would like to invite any interested and qualified firm/individual consultant to participate in this bid with the following level of experience and qualification.
- Advanced university Degree (Masters or equivalent) in gender studies, social science, human rights, development studies or related field;
- At least 10 years of professional experience working on gender in designing and delivering organizational support on gender mainstreaming, gender programming, etc in public or civil society sectors.
- Demonstrated experience in policy development, gender auditing, organizational reform and designing a visual -aide;
- Experience working on gender specific with disability focused organization, programs or policies is advantageous;
- Excellent writing skills in English (short and to the point);Excellent facilitation and presentation skills in Amharic and/or English;
- Registered under the required legal structure of Ethiopia.
