ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW
The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), re-established by proclamation No. 1133/2011, is the constitutionally mandated body to conduct elections, organize referendum and regulate political parties in Ethiopia. NEBE is working to boost its institutional strength with a special focus on enhancement of human resource capacity. Accordingly, NEBE would like to invite applicants for Monitoring and Evaluation Expert who meet the following requirements.
Job Summary
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Expert plays a vital role within the National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) by providing technical expertise in planning, programming, monitoring, and evaluation to support the organization's goals and activities. This role involves the development and implementation of M&E plans, the establishment of indicators and indicator handbooks, support for evidence-based planning, target analysis, and regular reporting. The M&E Expert also collaborates with various stakeholders, including government agencies, international organizations, and civil society, to ensure alignment with NEBE's priorities.
