The role
They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Personnel Manager to manage the people operations function. As a
key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, including
recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations. You will play a crucial role in developing
and implementing HR strategies to support the company's growth and succes
Primary Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates.
- Manage the performance appraisal process and provide guidance to managers on performance management issues.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Handle employee relations issues and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Manage employee benefits programs and ensure they are competitive and cost-effective.
- Maintain employee records and ensure they are accurate and up-to-date.
- Handle disciplinary actions and grievances in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes as a member
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.Desirable
- Master's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR).
- Experience with HRIS systems.
