Internal Auditor

1. Main duties and responsibilities

Under the general direction and supervision of the Board of Directors, Reviews whether the companys and projects accounting system, cash management, stock control, purchase of goods and services and services etc.; are in compliance with the politics and procedures of the company. Reviews and appraises the soundness, adequacy and effectiveness of the accounting, financial and other operating controls of the company. Ascertains the extent to which assets are accounted for and safeguarded from losses of all kinds. Reviews external audit reports and submits to the Head of the service, findings that need corrective actions. Follows-up the adequacy of actions taken to correct the weakness reported in the previous audit reports.

2. Specific duties & responsibilities

2.1 Reviews whether the companys and projects accounting system, cash management, stock control, purchase of goods and services and services etc.; are in compliance with the politics and procedures of the company.

2.2 Reviews and appraises the soundness, adequacy and effectiveness of the accounting, financial and other operating controls of the company.

2.3 Ascertains the extent to which assets are accounted for and safeguarded from losses of all kinds.

2.4 Reviews external audit reports and submits to the Head of the service, findings that need corrective actions.

2.5 Follows-up the adequacy of actions taken to correct the weakness reported in the previous audit reports.

2.6 Recommends operating improvements in accounting, financial and store management.

2.7 Ensures that the performance of the company is in compliance with items and condition of contract and with laws and regulations.

2.8 Studies and evaluates the existing internal control system of the company and reports on the adequacy of same to his immediate supervisor.

2.9 Performs management audit involving a comprehensive and constructive examination of the company on the whole or one of its components such as division or department.

2.10 Performs related functions as required.

Qualification Requirement

Education

BA in Accounting/Finance and Accounting or other related fields

Work Experience

4 Years of relevant experience
