IT Technician ( Application Support Officer)

The Job involves

• Setting up and installing new hardware and software systems. Maintaining hardware and software by conducting regular Diagnosing and troubleshooting computer& printers issues.
• maintenance and updates.
• Identifying and resolving network, connectivity, and server issues.
• Upgrading firmware, software, and outdated hardware systems. Monitoring and maintaining security systems and installing updates.
• Providing technical support to users and resolving technical errors. Performing regular tests, upgrades, and backups.
• Preparing technical documents, such as error and maintenance reports.
• Creating user documents and providing training on new computer systems.

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as computer technician or similar role. Good working knowledge of computer systems, including networks,
• servers, and system maintenance
• Experience with LAN/WAN networks Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Very good communication abilities Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field

Experience

• At least three-year experience in hardware maintenance and network installation in a well-known organization. Leading IT project experience is preferred.
• Having a knowledge of any financial system is advantageous.
