Job Description

Kaliti Food s.c. looking for energetic, committed and self-motivated Door to Door Sales representatives.

About the company

Kaliti Food S.C has been operating in the manufacturing sector since 1938. The company is a pioneer in introducing the food industrialization in Ethiopia. And it is one of the first and largest food processing in Ethiopia. Ceralia is a well-known brand in the country for almost a century. Is a household brand name for biscuits, bread, Energy biscuits, Pasta, macaroni throughout the country for almost 82 years. The company continues to lead the market through new product development and acquiring modern technologies.

Job purpose

A Sales Representative, or Salesperson, is responsible for using their knowledge of company products or services to connect with consumers and generate sales for their employer. Their duties include developing sales pitches to sell products or services, making cold calls to sales leads or taking calls from prospective customers and maintaining documentation of their sales like invoices or client contracts.

Role and Responsibility

  • Be knowledgeable about the Cerealia products
  • Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs.
  • Travel to assign Routes to introduce/maintain product supply to target consumers and existing client.
  • Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they meet their needs and solve customer problems
  • Answer questions about the products
  • Get the sale using various customer sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations etc)
  • Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships.
  • Meet personal targets of daily sales.
  • The sales shod handle the companys equipment and machineries responsibly with maximum care.
  • The representative should issue receipt for each and all customers and transactions.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications & Attributes

  • BA Degree, Marketing or Business studies are preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience with FMCG Company in Door-to-door sales.
  • Proven sales experience.
  • Track record of over-achieving quota.
  • Experience working with Sales force or similar CRM.
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven
