Senior Accountant/Finance Officer

Accountabilities

• Ensure effective maintenance of PADet's financial policy and procedure at the organization level.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and timely submit to the respective donors and other stakeholders,
• Assists project accountants at area offices in the preparation of financial reports, payroll, and other routine tasks and assist them in preparation of year end account statements.
• Prepare timely bank reconciliation for head office & for other projects assigned to him/her.
• Perform other assignments as per the direction of his/her immediate supervisor

Terms of Employment: subject to performance of employee

Report to: Finance Grant & Admin Director

Qualification and skills Requirement:

• BSC/BA degrees in Accounting.
• At least six years experience in related position (preferable in NGO)
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft basics internet and Financial Accounting software like Peachtree and Power point)
• Enough knowledge on USAID, European Union and other donors grants management & financial procedure.
• Enough knowledge on international public sector accounting standard (IPSAS)
• Proven report writing and communication skills.
• Good communications and interpersonal skills and good leadership quality,
