The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), re-established by proclamation No. 1133/2011, is the constitutionally mandated body to conduct elections, organize referendum and regulate political parties in Ethiopia. Job Summary
Junior HRM Expert II is responsible for to Manage the budget, prepare financial reports, and ensure all financial transactions in comply with project agreements.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist in the onboarding process, ensuring new employees are integrated smoothly into the workplace.
- Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
- Support the development of career growth plans for employees.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to compensation and benefits.
- Support the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers and employees on goal setting and performance feedback.
- Assist in analyzing performance data and preparing reports for management.
- Maintain accurate HR records and employee databases.
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, such as surveys, feedback sessions, and recognition programs.
- Assist in organizing employee events and activities to foster a positive work environment.
- Assisting with the recruitment and training of new employees
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process
- Assisting with the performance management and review process
- Organizing staff training on different skills
- Maintain employee records (attendance, staff data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues

Education and Work Experience:
- Masters or BA degree in HRM or Management or Business administration or Business management or public administration and development management
- 4 years and Bachelor | 2 years and Masters
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of people aspect of Change management methodologies, approaches and models
- Human Resource concepts and application (Ethiopian Labour Law and employment related regulations, HR Policies, procedures, modern practices, approaches and trends)
