The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), re-established by proclamation No. 1133/2011, is the constitutionally mandated body to conduct elections, organize referendum and regulate political parties in Ethiopia. NEBE is working to boost its institutional strength with a special focus on enhancement of human resource capacity. Accordingly, NEBE would like to invite applicants for Junior Training Expert IIposition who meet the following requirements.
Duties and responsibilities
Training Support:
- Assist in designing and developing training modules and materials under the guidance of senior trainers. Prepare training materials, handouts, presentations, and multimedia content for training sessions. Training Coordination:
- Coordinate logistics for training programs, including scheduling, room setup, equipment preparation, and participant registration. Ensure all training materials and resources are readily available for trainers and participants.
Training Delivery Assistance:
- Support senior trainers during training sessions by facilitating group activities, discussions, and exercises. C Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support during virtual or technology-based training sessions.
Feedback Collection:
- Gather feedback from training participants through surveys, evaluations, and verbal feedback.
- Compile feedback data and assist in preparing reports to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of training attendance, feedback, and other relevant data.
- Assist in preparing training reports, highlighting key metrics and participant engagement.

Education and Work Experience:
- BA or MA degree in Education, Management, Law, International relations, Business Administration, Statistics, Information Science, Social work, Psychology. Or any other Social Science fields
- 4 years and Bachelor | 2 years in Masters.
Knowledge:
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest developments, trends, and best practices in the field of operational trainings.
- Knowledge of electoral processes and election cycles
- Familiarity with election Laws, regulations, guidelines and training manuals
- Knowledge of election related software and relevant Microsoft office applications
Know-How (Skills) (Technical competencies):
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Basic understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies
