Job Description

Job purpose: To provide leadership in complete Human Resources gamut in the business to meet current and future business needs.

Reporting To: Business Head & Head Human Resources

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition:
    • Define and monitor Manpower budget. Prepare manpower plan factoring talent pipeline, exit and succession plan.
    • Manage On-boarding Program based on the business requirement.
  • Compensation & Benefit

Implement compensation & benefit policies & processes and manage compensation band across the business to ensure uniformity;

Ensure monthly payroll for is completed on time and coordinate effectively with Finance and statutory bodies for reporting;

Oversee and resolve escalated day-to-day C&B activities.

  • Training & Performance Management
    • Lead the performance management process for career growth, merit increase and succession planning;
    • Ensure continuous improvement in the performance evaluation process.

Develop and deliver training programs for each function in coordination with the HODs.

  • Employee Relations

Develop HR policy and process manual and implement;

Prepare People engagement programs, get budget approval and monitor effectiveness;

Ensure that all statutory provisions of Pension, Income Tax, employment Act and employee welfare, grievance and disciplinary management processes are implemented across all shops;

Keep track of all statutory regulations related to employment and update Management on important development;

Visit shop floor regularly, connect with people; address their concerns, grievances to encourage a supportive atmosphere;

  • Other responsibilities

Prepare monthly & adhoc MIS and update the Management on critical issues at regular interval.

  • KPIs:

Human Resources budget adherence

Human Resources compliance

Timely completion of payroll cycle and disbursement

New initiatives

Job Requirements

Competencies:

Functional

o Excellent knowledge in Human Resource standards,

o Knowledge in recruitment, payroll and statutory compliance,

o Excellent knowledge in MS Excel ,

o Can take new initiative as an when required.

Behavioral

o Ability to do multi-task, prioritize work and meet tight schedules,

o Excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills,

o Follow ethical behaviour ,

o Good team player,

o Time management.

Qualification & Experience:

Graduation in Human Resource. Minimum five-year experience in a reputed organization, preferably in retail.
