Infinity Advanced Technology Solutions P.L.C. (IATS) is a leading medical equipment distributor and technical service provider in Ethiopia. Currently the company needs to hire a qualified personnel for the following vacancy:

Position: Account Manager for government and private sectors

Job Summary

The Account Manager serves as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships;

The Account Manager is also responsible to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities;

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.     Serve as the primary point of contact and maintain regular communication with Government and Private sectors, representing the company's interests and fostering strong partnerships.

2.  Develop and maintain strong relationships with Government and Private Institutions to establish the company as a trusted partner in the medical equipment sales and technical service provision; IT equipment, software sales and technical service provision; and continuous professional development (CPD) provision for health professionals.

3.  Perform market research within the sectors to better identify the needs and requirements and expectations of the clients and continue to track their needs over time;

4.  Utilize the market research findings to generate account strategies, business plans and leads and to maintain consistent reach, awareness, and opportunities for growth in each market;

5.  Perform research on competitors and trends, share findings with the integrated marketing team, and take the lead on creating projects that bring in new revenue from the account;

6.     Lead and manage a variety of communications strategies, campaigns and projects for the sectors;

7.     Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs, requirements and expectations;

8.     Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas

9.     Proactively identify and bring sales leads and tender opportunities from the account ensuring a consistent pipeline.

10. Consistently select, manage a team of freelancers in regional institutes to effectively generate sales leads and contribute to market expansion.

11. Implement strategic marketing initiatives to dominate and cover the market, ensuring maximum market penetration and revenue growth;

12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales Team and Service Team, and Finance, to align marketing efforts and achieve overall business objectives;

13. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and potential risks, providing recommendations to management;

14. Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and reports to customers, showcasing the company's capabilities and value proposition together with respective product managers and engineers;

15, As necessary, visit clients, attend trade shows and other industry events to capitalize on networking and relationship-building opportunities;

16. Accomplish any other duties as assigned by supervisor;

Requirements:

1.     BA/BSC; MA/MSC/ MD degree in Health Related Fields (Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, MD…).

2.     At least 3 year proven experience in marketing, Sales, business development, or related roles within the medical and IT equipment industry.

3.     Strong network and existing relationships with Government and Private Institutes in the medical and IT businesses.

4.     Demonstrated success in generating sales leads, securing tenders.

5.     Ability to work independently, with a high level of self-motivation and resilience.

6.     Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

7.     Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with the capacity to translate market insights into actionable plans.

8.     Ability in market research techniques and tools is a Plus

9.     Experience in recruiting, managing, and motivating a team or sales professionals is a Plus

10. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
