Mid-Level HR Specialist

Position Overview:

• The HR Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our human resources operations. With a strong understanding of Ethiopian labor laws and experience in a large organization, the ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to our HR practices. This role requires someone who is not only knowledgeable and experienced but also energetic and ready to drive change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and company policies.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
• Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees
• Develop and implement creative HR strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
• Handle employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to both employees and managers.
• Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
• Manage performance appraisal processes and help develop performance improvement plans.
• Stay informed about law changes, industry trends and best practices in HR management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a large organization.
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws and HR best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to implement creative and innovative HR solutions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Energetic, dynamic, and ready to embrace new challenges.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
