Data and Process Analyst

Responsibilities

Collaboration and Information Gathering

• Work closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Business Analyst to swiftly gather complex information from various sources.
• Conduct interviews and workshops to understand evolving business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with startup goals.

Business Process Optimization

• Assist in the development and optimization of cross-functional business processes.
• Rapidly adapt processes to align with the startup's evolving needs.
• Continuously assess process effectiveness and propose improvements for efficiency and scalability.

Technology Solution Building

• Actively participate in building technology solutions alongside a small, innovative team.
• Help bridge the gap between business requirements and technology implementation.
• Utilize coding and technical skills to enhance process automation and data integration.
• Collaborate with the technology team to ensure solutions are aligned with business goals.

Data Analysis and Insights:

• Perform data analysis to uncover actionable insights and trends.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for real-time visualization of KPIs.
• Use advanced data analysis tools to support data-driven decision-making processes.

Agility and Responsiveness:

• Ensure the startup remains agile and responsive to changing business needs and market trends.
• Provide real-time insights and data-driven recommendations to support informed decision-making.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and adapt to evolving challenges.

Qualifications 

• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Lookr, Airtable).
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 2-5 years of work experience in business analysis, data analysis, software development, consulting, or related role.
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles and experience with data integration.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and database design.
• Knowledge of best practices in data governance and data quality management.
• Proficiency in coding languages such as Python or R for data analysis and process automation preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data storage solutions and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) preferred.
