Currently, we are seeking to hire a Senior HR Officer for Frontieri Head quarter office, Addis Ababa. The position holder with the understanding of the nature of the business, responsible to handle HR Solutions related with recruitment and selection, employment contract management outsourcing, organizational development, and employeeâs capacity development program management.

Job Summary:
Based on the strategic plan of the HR business, the Senior HR Officer is responsible for the provision of HR services both to internal and external client organizations. The provision of HR service includes the management of Service Agreements with client organizations and generating the targeted profit for the business. The position holder is responsible for designing client attraction and retention strategy that can make her or him successful in the assignment.
The Senior HR Officer is also responsible to manage both the staff under his or her supervision and also the resources including budget for the business.
General Duties and Responsibilities of Senior HR Officer:
- The position holder is required to be with multi tasked mindset and deliver results.
- Based on her or his understanding of the nature of the business that the company engaged in the position holder is responsible to design client attraction and retention strategies as well as its effective implementation in handling client requests for services and agreements with client organizations in the provision of HR services.
- Takes part in the marketing and promotional aspects of the HR service business (the supply of talented candidates on client demand, employment contract outsourcing management, payroll management, Organizational Development related tasks such as in assessing companyâs HRM related with problems and challenges and producing HR solutions as well as in the provision of Capacity building as service).
- Implements effectively HR policies and procedures of both the internal as well as external client organizations including coordinating the monthly payroll, leave management and other HR related policy aspects of the companies where the business organization is engaged in through service agreements.
- Oversees the recruitment and selection process as part of providing the right talent at the right time which calls for good knowledge of the companyâs recruitment websites, operational manuals as well as producing progress report through recruitment and selection trucking sheets.
- Develops talent pools that can enable her/him to provide effective HR service on client demands to both internal and external client organizations.
- Based on the strategic plan of the business designs Targeted Market Share and Income Forecast for the business period including the resource required that enables her/him to meet expectations.
- Manages the performance of staff as per the performance management guidelines of the company.
- Produces periodic performance reports to the needs of client organizations which includes payment request for the service provided and report that shows over all performance of the business.
- Handles any other related tasks as assigned by the line manager.
HRM Knowledge:
- This position requires good understanding of the subject matter of providing HR Services as a business company
- Good knowledge of business organization challenges with respect to Talent management which targets the provision of better HR outsourcing services.
- Good understanding of local labor laws and the most common companyâsâ HR policies and practice
- Good academic background in managing the human resources.
- Good understanding of the contribution of HRM as profession, as HR Business partner, in managing business organizations.
- Good understanding of the Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) business in the labor market and talent sourcing.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or related fields
- Total of 5 or more years together with relevant experience working in HR Consulting business, recruitment and selection companies and organizations where HR is well managed.
- Experience working on the competencies listed above and relevant position
Skills:
- Well conversant in designing the tools for collecting talented candidateâs data and conduct talent assessment for client organizations which calls for experience in handling different assessment tools.
- HR as business mentality where the specific skills for HR service provision is required
- Excellent communication skills that enable to convince and create confidence by the potential client organization on HR service provision.
- The ability to conduct know-how transfer through training and coaching/mentoring
- The ability to design need-based presentations on HR related tasks and services.
- The ability to communicate both in writing and orally and deliver message to client organizations
- Good ability to use Excel and be able to produce reports,
- Good ability in building good team spirit and be able to generate excellent team result
- The ability to create clarity of expectations, manage individual employeesâ performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Good ability to produce reports with the required level of competencies
