Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective distribution strategies for upcountry regions to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
• Optimize distribution processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels specific to upcountry operations.
• Oversee daily distribution operations in upcountry regions, including the management of warehouses, transportation, and inventory.
• Coordinate with production and logistics teams to manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of products to upcountry markets.
• Expand and enhance the distribution network in upcountry areas to ensure broad and efficient coverage.
• Identify and establish partnerships with local distributors and logistics providers.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess distribution performance in upcountry regions and implement continuous improvements.
• Prepare and present regular reports on upcountry distribution operations, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the upcountry distribution team to achieve operational excellence.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the upcountry distribution department.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners in upcountry regions.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best terms and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all upcountry distribution activities.
• Implement and monitor safety programs and initiatives tailored to upcountry operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in distribution management, with specific experience in managing upcountry or regional distribution operations.
• Strong knowledge of distribution software and tools, with proficiency in ERP systems.
• Excellent understanding of regional regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale distribution operations in upcountry regions.
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
