Local & Foreign Procurement Officer - Business Group

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for acquiring goods and services locally and internationally.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, and logistics coordination.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of procured items to meet the company's operational needs.
• Maintain and update the supplier database, including evaluating supplier performance and managing relationships.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Handle import and export documentation, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
• Analyze procurement data and generate reports to provide insights and recommendations for improving procurement processes.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on both local and international sourcing.
• Proven track record of managing procurement processes and supplier relationships.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and documentation requirements.
