Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective distribution strategies to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to local markets and government clients.
• Optimize distribution processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Oversee daily distribution operations, including the management of warehouses, transportation, and inventory.
• Coordinate with production and logistics teams to manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of products.
•  Manage the importation of essential goods and supplies, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely delivery.
•  Develop and maintain relationships with international suppliers and vendors.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess distribution performance and implement continuous improvements.
• Prepare and present regular reports on distribution operations, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the distribution team to achieve operational excellence.
•  Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the distribution department.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best terms and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all distribution activities.
• Implement and monitor safety programs and initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in distribution management, preferably within a diverse business group or an FMCG Sector.
• Strong knowledge of distribution software and tools, with proficiency in ERP systems.
• Excellent understanding of import regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale distribution operations.
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
