Position Summary:
Lemi National Cement is poised to become one of the largest cement companies in Ethiopia with a production capacity of 10,000 TPD We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team, drive market growth, and maximize revenue. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company sales goals and profitability.
· Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
· Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
· Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
· Set performance targets and conduct regular performance reviews.
· Identify and develop new customer accounts while maintaining existing ones.
· Address customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
· Oversee daily sales operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
· Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
· Manage pricing and discount strategies to maximize profitability.
· Monitor market conditions, competitor activities, and industry trends.
· Provide regular market analysis reports to inform business decisions.
· Track and report on sales performance metrics.
· Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance departments to ensure smooth operations.
· Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and senior management.
· Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
· Have Driving License and driving experience
Qualifications:
MA/MBA/ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management out of which 4 years managerial experience, preferably in the cement industry. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Abilities Skills:
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Ability to analyze market data and develop effective sales strategies.
· Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Have driving license, and driving experience
