Team Leader - Distribution

An exciting opportunity has arisen at East Africa Bottling Share Company for the role of Team Leader-Distribution. We work with the world’s most cherished trademark; invest in the most sophisticated production system in the world and employ people who are prepared to work with passion and focus.

The position is structured to report to the  Depot Manager. It will lead the execution of the Distribution plan, ensuring that the product is delivered safely, effectively, and efficiently in full and on time to all our customers. 

1. Product Distribution.

2. Transport and Logistics Management.

3. Reporting and Analysis.

4. Ensure safety and housekeeping standards including vehicle appearance, condition, and cleanliness.

5. Conduct initial incident and accident investigations and escalate accordingly.

6. Check and ensure that team members monitor planned deliveries versus actual deliveries to obtain the desired customer service levels.

7. Check that the drivers and other team members, carry out required basic vehicle and equipment maintenance tasks and any required running repairs on the road by work instructions and maintenance requirements.

• First Degree in Logistics and Supplies Chain Management /Accounting/Business Administration or related field of studies
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a logistics environment
