Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our growing team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting overall financial health and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other documentation.
• Ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
• Assist with accounting tasks such as invoicing and tracking purchase order numbers.
• Produce regular financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and payments.
• Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements and financial transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Coordinate with auditors and facilitate audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
• Handle payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely salary payments.
• File tax returns and other regulatory filings accurately and on time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
