As the name indicates, the Company produces 100% ORGANIC Liquid Fertilizer which is rich in microbes, improves soil fertility, increases the productivity and quality of the crop, and significantly cuts fertilizer costs. Job summary

Eco-Green is seeking an Organic Liquid Fertilizer Production Quality Expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and recommending improvements to our organic liquid fertilizers to ensure they meet national and international quality standards. This role includes gathering customer feedback on quality issues and suggesting corrective actions. The expert will report directly to the general manager and work closely with production, R&D, and customer service teams.

Detailed Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive product quality planning strategies.
• Create, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Lead and manage quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct internal quality audits and perform data analysis to establish and support a quality-centric culture within the company.
• Perform routine inspections and quality tests on products at various stages of production.
• Identify and resolve workflow and production issues to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Execute and oversee tests and in-process inspections during production, packaging, and dispatch stages.
• Collect and analyze customer feedback on quality issues to drive continuous improvement and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and present reports on work-in-progress, productivity, quality, and supplier inspections.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions based on audit findings and customer feedback.
• Ensure adherence to international quality standards and regulations for organic liquid fertilizers.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field
• At least five years of experience in developing liquid organic fertilizers.
• Extensive hands-on experience in a liquid organic fertilizer production environment
• Proven track record of ensuring compliance with international quality standards and regulations for organic liquid fertilizers
• Experience working in developing countries, particularly in South Asia and Ethiopia
• Prior experience in quality control and improvement of liquid organic fertilizer production
• Understanding of and adherence to the quality requirements set by the Ethiopian Government's Ministry of Agriculture
• Proven experience in the fertilizer systems and soil health projects in Ethiopia and other developing countries.
• Extensive knowledge of national and international quality control practices for organic liquid fertilizers.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills in English; proficiency in Amharic is an added advantage.
