Position Title: RIPA NUTRITION TEAM LEAD

The Resilience in Pastoral Areas Activity (RIPA-North) aims to improve the resilience capacities of households, markets and governance institutions across the Somali, Afar and Oromia regions. Mercy Corps, in partnership with CARE, are implementing an integrated program to address underlying causes of vulnerability to shocks and stresses, contributing to enhanced food security and inclusive economic growth for over 129,129 households in the three regions of Somali, Afar and Oromia.
The Nutrition Team Lead will provide leadership and oversight over the programs nutrition interventions. The individual is responsible for overall planning, coordination, and implementation of nutrition activities in the RIPA program, ensuring interventions achieve maximum impact while remaining on schedule and budget. The individual will work closely with other members of the senior management team and private and public sector stakeholders in designing and implementing innovative nutrition and behavior change approaches.
