The association was incepted in 1974 with the objectives of upholding the honor and ethics of the profession, safeguarding the professional rights of its members and working to ensure that the public gets quality pharmaceutical products and services. Introduction:
The Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Association (EPA) was established in 1974 and has been in operation since then. EPA has been duly re-registered and accorded legal personality by Registry No. 0130 on June 26, 2019 as a local professional association in accordance with Civil Society Organization Authority Proclamation No.1113/2019.
As per theFinancial Reporting proclamation number 847/2014 and regulation number 332/2014 and Guidelines of The Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE) EPA aims to convert its financial systems and financial management procedures into the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) by revising and updating the existing financial systems.
Therefore, EPA is seeking to employ a competent firm who is interested to carry out the IPSAS conversion.

Consultancy firms proposing to undertake this assignment should submit their proposals in two separate and sealed envelopes containing Technical and financial proposals for engagement by 23 February 2024 on working hours (8:30 AM - 5:30PM).
