ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensures that the specific policies of the operation are implemented and reviewed in coordination with the Group People Operations (POPS) team.
2. Implements all the POPS procedures.
3. Rolls out and communicates the Code of Conduct & Ethics and policies with employees and ensures that they are well understood through holding regular awareness sessions.
4. Plans regular visits to the regions where applicable, to meet the employees and hold awareness sessions.
5. Implements the Employee Satisfaction Survey, heads the one-on-one discussions/STAY interviews with every employee and ensures results are communicated and changes are implemented after the survey.
6. Oversees the implementation of business communication initiatives and rollout the approved business communication plan.
7. Approves the company eventsâ planning submitted by the local HR team and shares it with the Country Head and Group POPS for final approval.
8. Oversees the implementation of CSR initiatives in the operation.
9. Ensures the company culture is positive and productive and that employees adhere to the company values.
10. Handles employee relations, manages conflicts and resolves any issue between management and employees or among employees.
11. Handles the whole recruitment process in a professional, objective and cost effective manner.
12. Manages the relationship between the company and recruitment services providers or online recruitment portals.
13. Makes recommendations to the Group POPS on the issuance of new job descriptions and the review of existing ones.
14. Ensures that all employees receive a proper onboarding program.
15. Liaises with employeesâ outsourcing companies when needed, negotiates their proposals and coordinates with them on the supply of the needed resources.
16. Supervises the salariesâ preparation on monthly basis.
17. Submits the monthly detailed actual staff cost to the Group Finance and the Group POPS after ensuring it is reconciling with the local accounting data.
18. Oversees the constant update of the ERP personnel database and ensures data accuracy at all times.
19. Fills and submits the regular required HR reports on time.
20. Reviews the salary scale when needed, undertakes market surveys and salary benchmarking and recommends updates, when necessary, to the Country Head and the Group POPS team.
21. Oversees the preparation of the local contracts in accordance with the local labor regulations and the process of their authentication where applicable and required.
22. Manages the employeesâ termination process when required and ensures compliance with the local labor regulations.
23. Negotiates employeesâ medical insurance schemes for better quality and cost.
24. Reviews the existing employees benefits and suggests changes when necessary.
25. Implements the performance management system in close collaboration with all line managers, the Country Head and the Group POPS team.
26. Coordinates training and development plans with the heads of departments in collaboration with the Group POPS team.
27. Organizes internal training and ensures employees attend all the workshops developed by the Group or any other suggested online course.
28. Prepares the yearly departmental budget and shares it with the Group POPS team.
29. Coordinates with the heads and managers on the issuance of warning/motivation letters.
30. Ensures that the expatsâ benefits are handled properly in accordance with the Expats C&B approved policies.
31. Liaises with the lawyer on all HR related legal issues when needed.
32. Makes recommendations to Management on issues affecting the employees.

⢠Reports any hazards or risks in addition to Accidents/Incident to QHSE department
⢠Be aware of and complies to i engineeringâs IMS Policy
⢠Abides by i engineeringâs Local Legal and Client Requirements
⢠Attends and engages in IMS Awareness Sessions
⢠Ensures that all IMS procedures are regularly followed and raises the issue when they are not

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
⢠6- 10 years of experience in HR or similar field
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
⢠BA in Human Resource Management or related field
⢠Mastersâ degree is a plus
⢠Certified Member of a Professional Body
