JR Petroleum PLC is engaged in selling and marketing petroleum and related products. Currently, JR Petroleum has more than 42 active stations across the country.

Moreover, it is building the largest Aviation Depot in the country within the premises of Bole Addis Ababa Airport, to supply Jet fuel to Ethiopian Airlines which is expected be operational within a couple of months.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and encode payments, bank transfers, journals and collections to the system.
• Ensure that all cash vouchers and any other relevant documents are completely signed and authorized.
• Follow up the settlement account payables/receivables and provide a consolidated monthly report.
• Maintains proper filing for all payments and collections and keeps information confidential.
• Ensure transporters are paid on time as per the schedule and as per the rate set by government (MOTI)
• Prepare Bank and stock reconciliation
• Matched invoices to purchase orders and resolved any discrepancies.
• Prepares appropriate classification of coding and posting of all relevant transaction documents on the various control & subsidiary Ledger account.
• Prepare monthly government tax dues and ensure timely settlement.
• Assist Finance controller in preparing Finical Statements.

          Requirements

• BA degree in Accounting
• CGPA > 3

• Minimum 3-year work experience in preferably in Oil /fuel business.

  Additional Qualifications

• Familiar with Bulk fuel Transport Payment
• Experienced with high volume accounts payable/receivable 
• Familiar with SAGE Software is advantageous
