Purchaser

We are seeking an experienced Purchaser to join our procurement team at KK PLC. The Purchaser will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, products, and services necessary for our construction Sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the real estate and construction industry, excellent negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to managing supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and Procurement: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and purchase high-quality materials and products that meet the company's standards and budget.

• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess. Coordinate with the warehouse and construction teams to manage inventory effectively.

• Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Monitor supplier performance, address issues promptly, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

• Cost Management: Analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions. Seek opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.

• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and industry regulations. Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, contracts, and supplier information.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the construction and logistics teams to understand their needs and provide timely support.

Required Qualification:

BA Degree in Purchasing Management, Procurement and Supply Management and other related fields with a minimum of 3 (three) years relevant experience in the construction industry.
