Digital Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the conceptualization, implementation, and maintenance of the school's institutional branding and  web design projects
• Serve as the school's lead graphic designer, ensuring the consistent application of the ICS Addis brand  across all digital and print materials
• Collaborate with the Communications, Admissions, and other departments to create captivating    marketing campaigns and multimedia content
• Leverage industry-leading design tools and software to bring your creative vision to life 
• Continuously expand your skillset to stay ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving digital landscape
• Serve as the school's webmaster, designing, developing, and maintaining our cutting-edge digital platforms to deliver an exceptional user experience. 
• Create visually stunning graphics, documents, videos, and multimedia content to support marketing, academics, school initiatives, and student/faculty recruitment.
• Partner closely with the Communications team to conceptualize and execute impactful digital campaigns and content.
• Utilize your expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, photography, and videography to elevate our brand.
• Ensure seamless brand consistency across all digital and print materials.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UX/UI, or a related field (Master's preferred)
•  7-10 years of website and digital design experience, ideally in an educational or non-profit setting

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

•  Mastery of design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro
•  Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, web development, and CMS platforms (Finalsite experience a plus)
•  Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website maintenance/strategy
• A keen eye for design, typography, and brand consistency
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management abilities
•  Passion for visual storytelling and a drive to continuously innovate
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web
• Experience with both print and digital media
•  Photography and video editing skills a bonus
